The Ram River Middle Falls are on the South Ram River Trail, just before the first river crossing. From the South Ram staging area, the falls are approximately 4 km. Two seperate trails will lead to the falls. The first follows the old OHV access on the South Ram River Trail. The second trail follows the banks of the Ram River. The second trail is a better choice for hiking as you avoid the muddy trail. Additionally, the high banks of the Ram River, and a large set of water falls is adjacent to the trail. Not many people have seen the additional waterfall as it is tucked behind some hills. The banks of the river are over 50 meters in height and several pools have formed below falls. The trail continues south up the valley and the bank height decreases. The second trail will merge back with the South Ram Trail 1.5 km north of the falls. Ram River Middle Falls is approximately 3.2 km north of Sickman's Camp. In the winter, snowmobiles heading to the Ranger Creek random sledding area will pass by the falls and the small campsite on the trail.
