Wandering Creek Falls is approximately 3.2 km north of Sickman's Camp. Trails also lead from the South Ram River Valley to the east, or the Canary Creek valley to the north. The small waterfalls are just under a meter in height and flow summer long. The falls are only accessible by horse or hiking.
The Wandering Creek trail begins at the South Ram River staging area. Hummingbird Creek is crossed and the South Ram River trail is followed for roughly 2.95km. The Wandering Creek trail branches of to the south west. Wandering Creek is roughly 2.1 km further. You can circle back to the north following the Canary Creek Cut Accross trail and loop back in to the hummingbird valley just upstream from the lower falls. The entire loop is about 14.5 km in length. A campsite at Wandering Creek falls marks the half way point for overnight trips, although the loop can be made in a single day. This trail is an important short cut when the South Ram River is at peak flows and unsafe to cross using the South Ram Trail. As well, this route will shorten your distance if you plan on heading south of Sickman's Camp.
